Patrick & Jessica ~ Mini Maternity Session ~

I've known Jessica for a long time- I think since she was in Junior High and 6 years ago, I had the privilege of going with her to Namibia for one month to work with a school for impoverished children there.  

She is amazing with kids and I know she will be such a great mommy and Patrick a wonderful father.  I'm so happy for them and excited to meet little Paige!  This shoot was so fun and the weather was great.  I haven't done a maternity session in a long time so it was fun to do something a little different.  They are a sweet couple, don't you agree?

Caleb & Dani Double Senior Session

This was such a fun senior session and the lighting was just fabulous!  I was a little apprehensive, as the day was super smokey and kept getting smokier as got closer to the session time.  Visibility was reduced to 1-2 miles and we began to question if we should reschedule.  I decided to stick with the original plan and hoped the smoke would act as a natural diffuser for the sun.  It did just that and I ended up with some of my favorite images from this whole summer!  Not to mention that these two are just adorable and have known each other pretty much their whole lives.  As you can see, they are great friends and enjoy many of the same things, including Star Wars.  I, personally, am a big Star Wars fan so we all got along great and have some wonderful images to show for it!
